Ok, so I've been following some other threads about this, as well as another site.
Hi,
I have an ADSL wireless router. I want to connect to the internet using my wireless card which is working fine with my fedora 11 installation.
When I try to connect to the wireless connection detected by Fedora 11, it's requesting wireless network authentication.
Hi,
I managed to get Firestarter working with a VPN in Ubuntu 10.04 using the method found here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-266708.html
For some reason, when I try to install the driver for my wireless card (and it matches the card, the driver is made by the same company that makes a specific driver for it), however, for some reason I get an error message when trying to install the driver.
I'm running the 64-bit version of Fedora 12 on a MacBookPro5,1 system. I am unable to connect to my wireless network, which shows up in the list of available wireless networks.
I will enter my password and the system will try for several seconds to establish a connection and then fail.
I have a Intel WiFi Link 5300 [8086:4236] on my HP EliteBook 8530.
It correctly scans and locates my AP (wireless router), but connecting to it takes some time, and I get a dialogue asking for the network passkey.
Regardless of the correct key being filled in, the dialogue will repeat and eventually the connection will fail.
I have a strange problem, my wireless adapter works, in that I am able to see other wireless networks, except my own! It's very frustrating. I can't even manually connect to my wireless network. I've even disabled security temporarily. Whenever I boot back into Windows, I am able to connect to the network with no problems =/ Any suggestions?
Hi all,
I have a problem setting up my mums old laptop, and I was wondering if someone can help me.
I think it has a prism wireless card .. and anyway, I can see that it uses the orinoco_cs driver.
Since lucid, this has not been working.
