http://ubuntuforums.org – Well, here's the deal. when I watch youtube in my recentrly installed ubuntu 12.04 the gamma is wrong. You know when people looks blue. I also had problems with setting the 2 screens I have, and here's how I solved it http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1982598 Obviously i'm not satisfaid with the method, but I got them both working. An also I can see perfectly fine any video I paly in my computer. The problem is restricted to any video storing page like youtube, blip.tv and so on. Also when I watch them embedded in a page or blog I see the gamma is right. like the youtube em (Hardware)

youtube-dl is not working 33 weeks 6 days ago

I am using youtube-dl to download some videos from youtube. But when I write:

youtube-dl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn_YodiJO6k

I get:

[youtube] Setting language [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Downloading video webpage [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Downloading video info webpage [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Extracting video information

ERROR: unable to download video

What am I doing wrong?

I have been using youtube-dl to download videos from YouTube, but suddenly it stopped working:

youtube-dl "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wglrcytdE9Y&feature=related"

If you want to view a youtube video in full size, without all the other stuff from youtube surrounding the video, just do the following.

Using this URL about Amazon EC2 as an example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBajLxeKqoY

Just change the URL from the above, to this:

I might go for a black one.. They have different colors.

There are a few vids on youtube, not specifically on the S3, but just them in general. Pretty convincing videos.

Hi Can't figure out what has changed, but every YouTube video that I watch is blue, well the people in are.

Both in Firefox and Chrome browsers, but not in movie player or any photo's that I have on the computer.

Point of note is also that the thumb nails belonging to any YouTube video are in the correct colours until the video is played, have also noted that red turns blue

Hey Everyone,

Some of you may remember me as I have been making YouTube video reviews of ROM's, Tips, and how to videos for the last few years. I am increasing the quality of the video's and the amount of video's.

I use the live Ubuntu disc a lot. Doing that, I'd like to have YouTube play me some background music.

When I go to YouTube, I can't watch any vids because it says it's missing plugins. (and I can't install those on the live disc). However, when I see a youtube video embedded on another website, it actually is possible for me to watch it! It's kinda weird and really interesting.
