I'm using Ubuntu (of course :D) 11.10 32bits.
I'm looking for the best screen recording software with HD (720p) and audio recording. Thanks!

This how-to should show the steps required to record whatever audio is playing on your computer, similar to recording “stereo mix” in windows. This makes recording audio played by any application, including flash videos, possible.
I'm searching for a quality software for recording video streams and mixing 3 cameras' streams and photos. I need it also for online streaming on a website. It could be a commercial software, doesn't have to be open source or free. I just don't have a clue if there is something like this. Thanks in advance.
I wasn't sure where to post this as it is about audio recording, but as I am a virtual Linux noob, I thought maybe it would be best to post it in the beginners section chances are I am making some fairly basic mistakes!

So I went to a concert last night and I was looking forward to recording a song or two with my S3, Little did I know the audio recording would be so horrendous. The video turned out really good though, but the audio was pretty bad.
I have been recording happily using Audacity for many years but after upgrading to Windows 7, the latency has meant that recording music is impossible. My mate suggested partitioning my hard drive, installing ubuntu on it and then using this alongside Windows.
