[ubuntu] BCM4312 on Ubuntu 9.10

http://ubuntuforums.org – This problem is really annoying me :( Here is the situation I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 with Wubi and i use Windows 7 as well I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1020el It has a Broadcom BCM4312 card The card worked on Ubuntu 9.04 but on 9.10 just doesnt work by default :mad: The card works when using the Live CD Doesn't work when using the installed ubuntu OS I have no other means of internet access in using Ubuntu, but only via Wireless How to get this problem fixed ? anyone ? I tried removing the dkms package, then reinstalled it, so then i could install the bcmwl-kernel-source_5.10.91.9+bdcom-0ubuntu4_i386.deb I could get the above package installed successfully and then rebooted but still the card driver is not working :( In the Hardware Drivers, it only shows the B43 STA driver, and when i click the activate button and insert my root password it will just not activate it ! :mad: I am out of ideas, this problem has gotten me down :( I do not know what to do, so i thought anyone here would help me ! I be grateful a lot thank you guys :) (Hardware)

I was hopeing to find the driver for a ATI 200m?

Ok, so this is my (anoying) problem

It's imposible to activate any Hardware Drivers (proprietary) I just installed ubuntu, so i don't see why this would happen. I haved installed ubuntu and activated drivers before. But this time, just as soon as i click the ''activate'' button, it hangs in there, for ever, and for ever, for ever...

I just installed Kramic Koala, but the wireless does not work. It did work in Ubuntu 9.04. I think it is because of the Kernel that it doesn't work. I tired to install, and reinstall, the package bcmwl-kernel-source but no luck. I tired to go to the Hardware Drivers, but it said "not in use." I tried to click "activate" but nothing happened.

I am new to the whole Linux scene, and as Ubuntu is the most used, i thought i'd use it since it would allow me to get the most support while I'm still getting used to Linux.

I used this package https://www.dropbox.com/s/jerkl6uqal5ylv3/wireless-bcm43142-dkms-6.20.55... to install the driver on 3.2 Kernel and it was working perfectly , unfortunately the system used to freeze randomly with 3.2 kernel so i installed 3.4 kernel , now there is no freezing , the only problem is that my wifi card is not working , i tried to re-install the package , but didn't work
