I bought 2 new 16 GB Kingston Micro SD HC class 10 cards for the wife's and my RAZR Ms.
Both have the same issue. When inserted, the phone won't mount the card.
Error notification received: "sd card is blank or has unsupported file system".
Attempts to format are unsuccessful.
I put each card in my old Droid X.
Dear all,
I am using N7000 Galaxy note with 16GB internal storage and 2 GB device storage.
I am on android version 4.1.2 and Build JZO54K.N7000DDLSC
I have searched a lot and tried a lot but have not been able to crack this issue.
All of a sudden, my USB storage has disappeared.
Hello. I recently used the "lsusb" command with my Galaxy Note 2 plugged in my pc. It showed up as a Galaxy S II. I've been trying to add files to the ext sd card with Nautilus, FileZilla or some other means. Nautilus will show the top level directories on the sd card, but won't show anything under them, when the sd card is installed in the phone.
I have a Digital Concepts CR-75 51-in-1 USB card reader. When I plug it in by itself, I get four new empty partitions that show up (labeled 'Myson'). However, when I insert an SD card or mini SD card into the appropriate slot, the partition where that card would mount at seems to disappear. The other unused ones still show up, but obviously are inaccessible because of lack of media.
I am running 12.10. have a NAS on the network that I can access with Nautilus. I can also access it with gvfs-copy, gvfs-ls, via it's URI: smb://servername
But I don't know how to access it via the filesystem. I understand it should be mounted in a gvfs directory. I looked in ~/.gvfs, but that's empty.
I want to load an app from my computer onto a microSD card to put it into my Galaxy. Should I just drop it onto the card (i.e., "G:\") or should I put it in one of the folders (.android-secure or Android?) or make a new folder for it? Is it even possible? I mean, I know it's possible, but will I be able to install the app from the SD card once I put it back in the phone?
TIA
So I'm not sure what exactly I did, but I screwed up my SD card royaly!
I was trying to format it to work with Links2SD, but was being wonky about it, and somehow ended up messing up the SD card. Phone simply says "Removed SD Card: SD Card Removed. Insert a new one."
In Recovery (I have CWM v1.2518.4), if I go to mount sd card, I get "E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0..
I am about to create a secondary partition on my micro sd card. Will my android phone automatically mount all partitions when the card is inserted? Or will I need to manually mount the second partition via adb or terminal emulator?
