http://ubuntuforums.org – I just installed two new pieces of hardware. 1 a 64 mb video card "NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 AGP 8x 64MB DVI" 2 a sound blaster card "ill have to get exact model" both are replacing on board versions. One thing i noticed was no seeming "install" time on startup so im wondering if these are running at peak performance? The video card did give me more resolution options which is one thing i was after. However, Hulu (this is a media player box) is choppier than it was when i used the on board card. Is this due to higher res? I there a way to see what drivers im using and what the best are? I'm surprised at the choppyness. Same question for the audio. Also do i need to disable the on board card?
