http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello everyone, I can't get my HD Radeon 6320 work at its best with Ubuntu 12.04 I have a U32U-RX028V laptop. I can't play flash content in 720p or 1080p, even 480p in fullscreen lag. I've read this post : How to optimize Flash in Firefox but it did not work. I installed the drivers following Ubuntu Documentation. I used Ubuntu repositories and I have enabled hardware acceleration. --NO XORG.CONF-- High definition videos with VLC is perfect (1080p) Browser is not very smooth and flash videos don't play smooth Code: fglrxinfo display: :0  screen: 0 OpenGL vendor st (Hardware)

I try to make videos smooth playing on a Lenovo E325 laptop equipped with AMD E-450 APU. This processor have Ati HD-6320 GPU integrated.

I installed ATI proprietary driver (Catalyst 12.04) as described here. Everything went fine and got no errors. However I can not play smooth HD videos.

I have a Asus U32U-RX128V laptop, it is great.

I have recently reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 and replaced hard drives and video cards (both nvidia) but changed drivers as I went from a 7600gt with the 173 driver to GT 640 with 310 driver.

Hello, I ve installed ubuntu 12.04.1 on my pc, (athlon xp 2200 - ATI Radeon 9800)

and when I go to YouTube with Firefox, the videos won't play... they load, but all I get is a black screen. The same happens when I navigate facebook, the embedded videos won't play.

the flash player plugin is installed, and also shockwave flash...

what could be wrong?

I recently bought this Acer Aspire One 722 and I have used it for around two weeks under Windows 7 Ultimate X64. Everything runs smooth on it except for when playing 1080p videos in .MKV format or Youtube.

So now, I finally got to dual boot both Win7 and Ubuntu 11.10. I love Linux!

Hey guys, so this has been going on for a long time but I am actually determined to fix it now...Basically, ever since upgrading to 12.04 LTS, watching fullscreen youtube videos (often in 720p or 1080p) will eventually crash Firefox/Flash and the workspace will just be frozen...

Audio will still work, but I basically have to switch workspaces, kill the firefox and plugin process, and then relaunc

I just upgraded to Firefox 11 with Update Manager, and now I cannot play videos of any type in Firefox. I am on Ubuntu 11.10x64. I have Flash Aid 2.2.3 installed. I tried using the Wizard mode of that, but all it did was remove the existing Flash plugin and reinstall the same one: Version 11.1r102. If I run Check Update, I get a message saying there are no no flash updates at this moment.

I installed the latest Ati CCC from following the guide at cchtml wiki.

I know Firefox won't display mp4 videos, but from what I've read Flash can be used to play them. We have Firefox version 18.0.1 and Flash version 11.5.502.146

How can I make it so that when a user goes to a page with mp4 it plays it properly using flash? (or, if flash isn't the answer, the most accepted way to make it happen)
