I have Ubuntu 12.04. I was downloading something via Aria... and then it suddenly stopped. There was no connection to the Internet.
I tried to ping the host but there was no reply. Also tried to ping the route 192.168.250.1 but there was no reply.
Hi guys,
I've got a problem with my networkadapter. Sometimes (once a month) the networkconnection is suddenly timed out.
Has anybody else had this issue yet?
I am running Fedora 18 on a 64-bit gateway ne56r10u with an Atheros wireless card.
It seems after a certain point of time(not sure how long exactly) the connection drops.
After it drops, I wait and wait some more. After waiting for about 3-5 minutes I turn off wireless and turn it back on.
I was surfing the net, and my connection suddenly stop to work!!! Now I tried to put a wireless usb adapter and everythings work, but seem that networkmanager can't select my wireless card connection!! This is the situationhttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/83

ubuntu unity is fast in my computer running multiple windows etc etc but when the update center suddenly shows and when a script stops running(usually when im on fb) it suddenly slows down sometimes freezes.
how do i prevent the script suddenly stops...
and lastly how do i choose a tag its so difficult to put one xD
HI
I have installed F17 on a new Acer Laptop that belongs to my wife. Release 17 (BeefyMiracle) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.5.3-1.fc17.x86_64 GNOME 3.4.2. At what appears to be random times the Wifi connections drops. A reboot brings it back but what could be causing this dropping of the wireless connection?
Hi, I'm new around here. I recently updated Ubuntu to 10.04 from 9.10 and in the process lost the ability to connect to any wireless networks. The card recognizes available networks, both at home and at work, but is unable to make a connection.
Hi guys,
I've got a wifi connection that drops around every half hour. When I go to the log I see this:
ubuntu wpa_supplicant[29144]: CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=00:23:69:28:21:75 reason=7
It then connects again, but after a while it drops.
My wifi card is an AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter.
