http://ubuntuforums.org – hello! I have a slight problem with my Asus USB-N13 Wireless Network Adapter. I plug it in to a USB port and Ubuntu recognizes it and connects to my networks in just a matter of seconds with no problem and everything is working just fine. But after about 5 minutes the connection stops working. However, the Ubuntu network manager does not realize that the connection is lost but if you for example try to refresh a web-browser page it tries for several minutes before failing. I can disconnect from the Network but then i can't reconnect again, and the only way to fix it is to remove the adapter f (Hardware)

Hi, I'm new to Linux. My original OS is Windows 7. I installed Ubuntu via the Wubi installer, and everything seems to be working swell. The only thing I have a problem with so far is the wireless capability. When I connect to a wireless network, everything's fine for a while but then after around 5 minutes, it just stops working (but the icon still indicates that I'm connected and everything).

My ASUS sees both wired and wireless networks in ubuntu 12.04 LTS. However, I want to run Joli OS, but in Joli OS the wireless isn't working.

The newest Joli OS is ver. 1.2 and is based on ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

I just brought a new wireless card - Asus PCE-N13. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and while it connects to the network everytime. However after about 5 minutes of downloading files or browsing the web the connection is lost and I am unable to reconnect until I restart my computer. Once the computer restarts I am back online for about 5 minutes.

Hi, I bought a USB wireless adapter that uses the Realtek chipset RTL8188CUS.I saw that the drivers are already installed in the "Realtek-firmware" package.So i put the adapter in and it is recognized by the sysytem.I go to the network manager applet and I click "Create new wireless network", than i put in the network name and the WPA password. And here comes the trouble.

The ASUS EeePC 1025C is a new netbook, and uses the Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter chip on a PCI bus on the motherboard.

Problem: Joli OS works on a wired network connection, but it doesn't see any wireless network.

I have thoroughly searched and could not find a solution. The adapter is recognized and powered on. I have entered the ssid and password information into the wireless network configuration.
