I've been trying a bunch of desktop environments using Ubuntu 12.04.1 64 bit LTS and I have to say that I strongly prefer Ubuntu Unity desktop environment by far now. I did try Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit, but I found that it was not nearly as stable and I had a lot of problems with the package catalogue being corrupted when I removed software packages that I no longer needed.
Any news on this?
