Hey guys i'm trying to use the airodump-ng but it is saying the following,
bstrawt@pan:~$ sudo airodump-ng mon0
Interface mon0:
ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX) failed: No such device
instead of me having a wlan0 it says i have a eth1 as an adapter. I am using wifi from my laptop and confused why it is saying i have eth rather than wlan.
I have IMac OS X Mountain Lion and am running BackTrack 5 R2 in Oracle VM VirtualBox. I need a bit of help with wash -i mon0/Airodump-ng mon0.
I have an external wifi card for use, It works with my Mac lets me start mon0. When I put in the command Wash -i mon0 or Airodump-ng mon0 it doesn't produce any information. No stations, channels or anything.
Hello,
i have a problem with using Aircrack. When i want do the regestration and typ, there come mon0 is on channel-1, but the AP uses channel1
My Wireless card driver is rt2800pci
I use ubuntu since 3 days
Patches from http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=compat-wireless cannot be applied since they are old (3.6 vs 3.8).I can't believe that, after four or five years, this bug hasn't been fixed yet. I don't know whose fault is it (driver? aircrack?), but it's getting on my nerves.I have iwlagn, and I wonder what to do.
hello , after quick search , i dont see any thread about WPSCRACK ,so i made it for this tool.
so im a newbie linux ,but have made few try on BT.
there is my probleme / bug , i made this :
airmon-ng start wlan0
wlan0 Realtek RTL8187L rtl8187 - [phy0] (monitor mode enabled on mon0)
airodump-ng mon0 -c 1
BSSID PWR RXQ Beacons #Data, #/
Interface Chipset Driver
wlan0 Unknown rt2860
(monitor mode enable)
This is my first day of using Ubuntu. Please i would like to know why the chipset is unknown.
I guess that is why the interface isn't changing to "mon0". What am I to do.
I use a ralink rt2860 wireless driver
Help please
Code:
airodump-ng --channel 11 -w wep --bssid E8:39:DF:B1:D7:14 mon0
but mon0 is still fixed on -1
Code:
fixed channel mon0: -1
so when i write
Code:
aireplay-ng -2 -p 0841 -c ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff: -b (bssid) mon0
it writes that the AP is on channel 11 and mon0 is on -1
:lolflag: :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :(:(
Hi,
I have root my phone, install a custom rom(cyanogen 10) and install backtrack arm like THIS.
Aircrack is correctly installed but airmon-ng don't mount wlan0 on monitor mode.
the chipset displayed is : bcmsdh_sdmmc.
I did some research on this chipset and aircrack on GS3 but i have not found anything
The exact model of my device is : GT-I9300.
Thanks in advance.
i just installed ubuntu 10.04 on my computer, and tried to airodump, but noticed that its stuck on 11th channel, when i specified only channel 6 during scan, it gave me hosts from channel 6 and 11, but then i ran aireplay-ng and it runs on 11th channel as well, even when i put my card into monitor mode with a specific channel option. btw my chipset is AR9285 with ath9k driver.
