I am thinking about buying an ACER Aspire 4810TG. I have read about the Acer using a hybrid graphic card system with an Intel onBoard Card and an ATI Radeon 4330... There was a lot of discussion about it in forums. So I am a little bit scared and wanted to know whats the the situation.
Recently I bought an Acer Aspire One 725 Netbook and installed Ubuntu 12.10 on it. I bought it, because it can run HD movies and has Full HD on external VGA port.
However, movies from youtube have a really slow framerate. If you open three tabs in Opera (for example g-mail, youtube and askubuntu) it gets really laggy.
My suspicion is that the driver for graphic card is missing.

How to get intel 82845 graphic drivers for ubuntu?
Hello.
I want to buy a new graphic card for my desktop PC. Some friends advised to me the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, and I want to know if that card has problems with Linux due to its drivers.

It's 2 year I've started using ubuntu. In ubutnu 10.04 until ubuntu 11.10 anything was Ok with my Graphic card, But when I migrate to ubuntu 12.04 I had a corruption in my graphic card and I paid expert to repair it. It was Ok with ubuntu 12.04 in continuous but when I upgraded to ubuntu 12.10 I'm never able to install my nvidia.
