I have downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 with Wubi installer according to the proper instructions
and when restarted I am not able to start Ubuntu.
It is installed in the D drive.
When restarting I have only acces to Windows XP.
I have not the slightest idea to open Ubuntu.
Pls. let me know the solution.
Having installed Ubuntu 10.04.1 by wubi from XP I cant boot to start Ubuntu. The install app let me 2 options in windows loader. 1.- Windows Xp Professional. and 2.- Ubuntu. If I acces the frist option I get access to Windows Xp correctly but if select 2.
Let me try to explain my situation.
Wubi installed on D:\ drive (data drive). And it seems ok, but i can't get acces to my D drive from Ubuntu (only C:\, Recovery and Boot are visible).
Any ideas how to fix it?
i have dualbooted ubuntu using WUBI from win7 in a separate G directory now from where i can find my nvdia control panel that is installed in win7 .or i have to install it again in ubuntu coz technically the nvdia is installed in C directory of windows.if yes how?
am using nvdia geforce 9600GT
now as i have installed ubuntu from WUBI does it means that i am using windows7 only with ubuntu interfac
I installed an older version of Ubuntu before with the Wubi installer. I then did an upgrade of the Ubuntu to the latest 11.10 version but this did not work well. Icons were missing in Ubuntu and it was pretty messed up (with no option to shut down Ubuntu etc.). I therefore completely uninstalled ubuntu from within Windows 7 64 bit and downloaded the new Ubuntu 11.10 Wubi.exe.
I used wubi to install Ubuntu on its own hard drive. That drive seems to have died and I can no longer boot to Ubuntu. I tried to uninstall Ubuntu from the control panel in Windows 7 and received the message that it could not acces the uninstall file. I want to install Ubuntu again on another drive but am concerned about the dual boot that is already on my computer. What do you reccommend
