i have recently bought two subsonic bluetooth controllers. they were supplied with two bluetooth dongles, however i already have a bluetooth adapter for my computer. is it possible to register both controllers using the adapter rather than the dongles provided.
in fact, i find it odd that they ship dongles with every bluetooth device that is sold.
I've got a cheap bluetooth adapter that I've been using with no problems in 10.04 for a couple of years now. I'm just trying out the 12.04 beta, and it doesn't detect any bluetooth adapters.
Oddly, I also tried xubuntu 12.04 beta, and it detects the adapter just fine and works flawlessly.
Ubuntu is not recognising my bluetooth adapter in my laptop (dell inspiron m5010) it has a bluetooth adapter built into the motherboard. I have tried reinstalling bluez, but that has just made my bluetooth settings menu disappear. It is not soft or hard blocked.
Ubuntu 12.04, KDE4. I've got enabled bluetooth in my bios. But my Ubuntu doesn't see this adapter. Hcitool dev shows no devices. What can i do to get bluetooth working? Please i need it to my bluetooth headphones.
Hello everyone:
My laptop doesn't have bluetooth, so I want to use a bluetooth adapter to connect with my sixaxis gamepad. How do I setup the bluetooth device? And how can I make a connection, for example to my cellphone?
Regards
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit os on my ASUS k53E. I cannot get bluetooth to work, I see that it says "No Bluetooth Adapter Found". I have an Atheros Bluetooth adapter, could you please help me how to get this fixed.
Thanks, Sunny.
hi there.
I've downloaded and installed kubuntu karmic koala RC. It doesn't work with my Broadcom 43xx wifi adapter. I even tried to load with linuxant.com driver loader script but it says there is no 43xx card exist! ](*,)
What is wrong with that? Is it becos of RC release or just karmic?
I've attached kernel messages log too.
I am aware that similar threads exist, but none of the solutions work for me. I have the Wireless N 300 USB Adapter sold by D-Link with the E1 hardware version. My desktop has a DWL-520 PCI Adapter inside that does not function for the same reason as the USB Adapter. I am currently on an AMD64 version of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
Hi, I bought a wireless adapter for an upcoming Raspberry Pi and I thought I would try it out on my desktop first. The model is EDUP EP-N8508 and my research shows that it needs an rtl8192 driver.
