ubuntu 12.10 unity configuration for asus eee 1000h netbook

http://askubuntu.com – I've installed ubuntu's 12.10 version on my Asus eee pc 1000h netbook. But I think, it's so slow when it's opening windows or running web browser(chrome) or something else. After a google research, I've noticed that this slowness might be caused by Unity. Now, I wonder what is the best configuration of unity for netbooks or specifically my netbook. Thanks. (HowTos)

I am looking to switch my Asus 1000H netbook (N270 1.6Ghz processor) from XP to Ubuntu. Is the latest version 12.10 the most suitable for this machine?

My friend has a really slow 2 yr old Toshiba netbook with 1GB of RAM. She is annoyed how slow Windows Starter runs on it so I suggested switching to Ubuntu. Since 12.10 is due in a few days, I'm not sure if we should wait before installing Ubuntu or if we should install it now in order to use Unity 2D.

PC manufacturer Asus has announced that they are releasing three Eee PC netbook models with Ubuntu pre-installed. The three models that will be available with Ubuntu are the 1001PXD, 1011PX and 1015PX. Asus also announced that they plan make more models available with Ubuntu.

Hey i got my brand new netbook today it sucked with windows 7 so i put ubuntu 10.10 on on it! and well i was updateing it then while there update was installing unity crashed so i hit the power butten now unity wount boot and it says no driver!it auto logs on so i can't chance any thing! it was just working my guess something went wrong in the update.

I Installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my Eee PC 1000H Netbook but i cant turn my wifi on because there is no option to do so and i cant connect to my eternet. can any one please find a way to install wifi drivers without using the internet on my netbook.
