Ubuntu 12.04.02 freezes an ungodly number of times in a day. Could be 1 minute after boot, could be 3 hours

http://askubuntu.com – I'm at wit's end. My computer freezes very, very frequently. I'm using 12.04 (32bit, though my computer supports 64 bit, but I had freezes with that too), I've had the same trouble on 12.10. I've used kernels 3.2, 3.5 and 3.8, all still have freezing. I'm not sure how to identify the package causing the freezing, but if anyone has any idea, I will supply whatever info you need. To start, output of lspci. In the middle of typing this, it froze again. It has frozen at least 10 times today. Can anyone steer me to the package causing the problem so I can either see if it's already been rep (HowTos)
