Some programs in the launcher, for instance Libre Office start with a single click on the icon, other programs (Krusader) need a double click. How come? Can I change this behaviour?
Let's say that you have multiple firefox windows open. What you see happen is an additional arrow points to it's icon in the launcher. However, if you double click the icon, it displays all of the windows in a spread out fashion.

Help! My launcher is full! And scrolling through the icons is so painfully slow!
Is there any possibility to apply a hierarchy in the launcher? Some folder-like icon where you can put in a bunch of launcher icons? And when you click on it, they will be shown. So you can start an app in the launcher with two clicks instead of one and you don't have to scroll all the way down every time.
If I click on Chromium (which I've set as my default browser) in my Unity launcher (in 12.04), then it opens as expected.
I've just updated ubuntu to 11.10 a couple of days ago. When i was experimenting with the launcher, i removed a terminal icon, which was running and un-clicked "keep in launcher".
Hey guys. I am having some issues using the script (found it here) for installing the NCSoft Launcher. I copied it all and saved it as a bash script, and then ran it. Nothing happens when I double click it, and when I open it via the terminal, it gets the error that it can't find the NCsoft Launcher.
Some help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I successfully remove icons from the Unity Launcher by right click on icon -> "keep in launcher".
When I log on next time they reappear on the launcher. This is a bit annoying. How to remove icons from the Unity launcher permanently?
Thanks.
I use Ubuntu 11.04 and Gnome 2.32.1.
