http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a Lenovo U450p Ideapad. I just upgraded to 12.04 from 10.04. The wireless worked in 10.04. A couple of weeks ago, I installed kubuntu 10.10 on my laptop and my wireless card has not worked ever since. It was fine under 10.04.

yesterday i've installed openSuse 11.2 on my laptop (dell studio 15). Today at work i tried to connect to the wireless network, but i couldn't. First, the network card wasn't being recognized, but after a long time trying i was able to set it up, for this i used this command:

I use NetworkManager + gnome 3 on fedora, and strangely wlan speed is not maxed out. instead of 150mb/s, i get 72.2mb/s.

I am fairly new to linux and installed Kubuntu yesterday. Since my installation, I've been unable to see my private wireless network but I can see others. I tried going to many forums but wasn't able to find something that matched my needs.

I have an HP g60 running a vanilla Maverick installation, and the wifi has cease working. I've tried booting while pressing the switch and various other combinations of switch presses, but nothing is seeming to work.

I run F12. Since some days my laptop has become very sluggish. In Mozilla, switching between the tabs takes like seconds instead of fraction of a second. Also minimizing and mximizing windows takes long. Switching between the windows too takes long. Now I can't see the cursor while typing this post.
