I keep having an issue with either Chromium or Ubuntu bugging out when I want to click and drag files into the browser directly from the folder itself.
This issue keeps happening after a while when the browser has been running, and every time it happens I'm forced to close and reopen Chromium to drag and drop files into the browser.
Hey folks,
I have a system with three screens running Ubuntu 11.10 86_64. Those screens are located next to each other and the X-Server is configured with Xinerama.
The screen in the middle is the main screen and all desktop-icons are located on the left one by default (files, links, ...). If I want to move one of these icons to another screen, I try to drag and drop those.
I updated Chromium in 12.04 with apt-get from the official repositories and chromium-browser --version say Chromium 20.0.1132.47 Ubuntu 12.04. but "About Chromium" from the browser itself say 18.0.1025.168 (Developer Build 134367 Linux) Ubuntu 12.04
why is that ?
how can I update Chromium ?

Hi there... as you can see in the attachment, my browser doesn't go full screen. If you look at the bottom there's a small portion that won't go all the way down. And yes, this screen is fully maximized. This problem doesn't exist with Chromium.
Xubuntu 11.10 oneiric armel
Asus eee pad slider sl101 nvidia-tegra 2 arm tablet
chromium browser 18.0.1025.151
Browsers which work fine are:
Midori
Epiphany
Firefox
Opening a link in Chromium actually I can see the websites are loading but nothing is being displayed on the page...
Even the Chromium settings load as a blank screen.
I tried installing both the Precise and Oneiric Chromi
I've run into a few issues, and I'm not sure if they're actual bugs or I'm just doing something wrong or expecting a feature that isn't there.
Whenever I run a web app, I have the web app icon for it in my dock, but I also have an extra Chromium icon (in addition to my normal one).
By default Chromium's full-screen mode (F11) covers tint2. Is there a way I can set it to respect tint2's space? Perhaps a change in my Openbox or tint2 configs?
Hey every one, I'm fairly new to Linux, Gnome and it all but Im starting to get the hang of it all but to my question...
I know when you click or move your mouse to the top left corner of the "Activities" button you get the full screen nice application start thingy.. I like it and all but recently I came across "Axe Menu".
