Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron n7110 with a Integrated 1280x720 native HD Webcam. I run unbuntu version Ubuntu 12.04 My built in webcam is not working I have tried installing cheese and camorama and it still is not working. I have no idea why and can not find any threads or helps that can solve my problem. Can anyone help me?
SONY Vaio VPCZ112GX is a powerful notebook powered by Intel Core i5 processor series. It was built using a 32 nm process for higher efficiency. The cores are based on the Nehalem microarchitecture, and is a good processor for multi-tasking on laptops.
I have a 2008 model Sony Vaio that came with 64-bit Windows on it. I nopw have that on a 50-GB partition and have 64-Bit Ubuntu 9.04 Ultimate Edition 2.03 running on a 300-GB ext4 partition. The camera built into the laptop records video, but not sound. How can I fix this problem?
I have googled all over, and checked every forum I could find, including this one. Yes there are tons of posts about this, but every link to all the drivers are broken. So I guess I'll create a new thread and get some fresh responses.
