Guys, I've just signed up for a trial account over at Netflix and have a couple of weeks to decide whether or not I want to keep the account. I've looked around online, but couldn't find anything that was obviously better, but perhaps I've missed some other service that should be considered. Do any of you have other recommendations, or is Netflix the way to go?
Well I don't watch Netflix myself, but there seems to be considerable interests here I just want to share this with you. Netflix is going to dump Silverlight and move to HTML5.

The bad news is that
"Netflix will use HTML5 technologies incorporating some EME (Encrypted Media Extensions) for playback of secure data transmission.
Has anybody found a workaround to watch Netflix on Ubuntu other than running Windows XP through VirtualBox? At this point my girlfriends fascination with Netflix is the only reason I still use windows for anything.
Netflix now supports Chrome OS 13 or higher, and Mac OS 10.4.11 or later. I have tried Moonlight without success.

Hey everyone, new to the community! Hopefully someone out there can help me with this. Since I have updated my galaxy tab 2 to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (not the full 4.2 for some reason) Netflix streaming no longer works. Netflix thinks it is either a device problem or my internet signal isn't strong enough (that sounds like a load of crap).
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even those in the lighthearted holiday fare you were planning to watch on Netflix, which has been down since 1pm PST for some customers.
Having an issue. With netflix app. I keep getting a notification "Netflix trying to connect to available network" which is my home wifi, working fine. And after i try usinh netflix my media volume gets muted and I have to restart my device to get volume control back. Any suggestions?

BREAKING NEWS! Netflix on Fedora linux work! After several tests we decided to share with you, a few months ago, our friends at I Heart Ubuntu made a call to the community to get Netflix on Ubuntu. Somehow. Legally. Without the need to install a virtual operating system or booting into it. Something as natural as possible.
OK while it is unofficial and basically a specialized WINE box.... a needless silverlight update has broken the netflix application in the software center... I click install update and right click run from the FF DL list but of cource it still wants me to update....
Is there a way to actualy add this Siverlight update to the netflix app bottle properly....
