http://askubuntu.com – I installed, and reinstalled Ubuntu from the live disk. When I restarted the computer. The only choices in the menu are the hard drive, the DVD drive and the rescue partition. I tried to do this three times, yet Ubuntu does not show in the choices. Is there something I can do to solve this, other than erasing the whole disk and deleting windows? The partition shows when I run fdisk-l , but in Windows it shows as unformatted space. Upon starting it the first time I got a prompt saying windows had detected an unformatted partition, and would attempt to fix the problem. I immediately cancel (HowTos)
