I received two emails, from two project managers of open source projects that I’m following, both gave me the good news of an update of the product and so i’m glad to present you in this post the update of two excellent software which I have already spoken Xplico and Ububox SalentOS
SalentOS, a GNU / Linux distribution based on Ubuntu that uses Openbox and Razor-qt as window managers, is now at version 12.04.2.
As the version implies, SalentOS is based on Ubuntu 12.04.2 and aims to combine ease of use with the features of Ubuntu.
"Razor-qt SalentOS is the first operating system based on Ubuntu that uses the new Razor-qt, desktop written in Qt, the same as KDE, but which provides superior performance compared to it."
. . . So goes the intro. Non-Canonical, from Italy. Find it here. FYI.
I'm looking for a tool that can solve following problem:
Our complete unit tests suite takes hours to complete. So when programmer commits code, he gets tests result after few hours. What we would like to achieve is to shorten time for finding simple bugs. This could be done by smart selection of few unit tests which would be run just before/right after the commit.
I have been trying it from a long time now and this time it got my nerves...
The commands make and make install used to install a program from an extracted tar ball never work for some reason...
The make command gives me the error-
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
and the make install command gives me the error
make: *** No rule to make target `install'.

I've been trying for days now to make some live wallpaper myself. I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=739512 and messed around with the script on there. It's working on and off. I don't know why it doesn't work all the time.
I managed to make a working Dell Streak live wallpaper. It works on my Streak.
So, the advanced graphics on my install do not work correctly with my ATI Radeon graphics card because whenever I enable the restricted drivers, the whole operating system stops working. I have accepted this.
However, when I boot to an Ubuntu Live CD, the full graphics work fine.
