Now these two servers can't ping each other, this is arp -n result: # arp -n Address HWtype HWaddress Flags Mask Iface x.x.x.129 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx C br0 x.x.x.21 (incomplete) br0 x.x.x.138 (incomplete) br0 I can't ping x.x.x.21 Note: according to that guide br0 is default interface and there is no MAC Address Defined in it. So How can I fix it? Thanks (HowTos)

Hello every body i ahve just installed fedora 11 kde edition and i used to use fedora 10 after finish installation i edit the connectons to connect to my network im in lan network but i connect my cable to an access point to free using my laptop anywhere :)

I ordered new servers and the Data Center sents me this IPs details

IP ADDRESSES

Primary IP address : 184.107.73.11 Primary IP mask : 255.255.255.224 Gateway : 184.107.73.1

SECONDARY IP ADDRESS

Usable secondary addresses: 184.107.74.56-63 Mask : 255.255.255.248

I added 184.107.74.57 from IP Functions section ( Add a New IP Address )

I used 184.107.73.11 f

New Centos 5.4 64bit install on vmware esx 4, NAT net setup.I can ping/trace other servers on IP, do nslookup's on name..Ping(traceroute on name gets me "distination unr... [by vanSinn]

I am setting up a few servers for a conference at a hotel. They have setup a separate VLAN for me and gave me 3 static IP's and a DHCP pool of 500.

The issue I have is that the two servers can not ping each other.

There are 2 servers:

server1 - eth0 10.129.76.16 eth0.2 192.168.0.103

server2 - eth0 10.129.79.1 eth0.2 192.168.62.101

The 192.x.x.x addresses are connected to the same vlan (vlan2) and are able to see eachother. The 10.x.x.x addresses are connected to different vlan's which are not able to see eachother.

We are in the process of setting up an OpenVPN server for some servers running in a cloud.

We got 2 CentOS servers on same datacenter. they both have websites using same mysql server. Most of the websites uses same source codes located on a.b.c.162. There is a shortcut to a.b.c.162 on a.b.c.164 placed on same location as a.b.c.162. So websites are reaching source codes through shoutcut between servers if website is located on a.b.c.164.
