Two E-mail Handlers???

http://androidforums.com – I seem to have two separate programs managing my e-mail. I am using ONE gmail address. When I get ONE incoming email, I get TWO notifications with different audible alerts. Seems as tho the phone is managing e-mail, and gmail is managing e-mail. In my status bar I get two notifications. One black "M" and one red "M". The red "M" is associated with my gmail widget (which is the handler I want to keep). The only way to acess the black "M" is to slide down the notifications window. That's just waaaay too much trouble!! lol If I don't enable &quot (General)

I need some help regarding setting up email filters. Following is the scenario == Domain: abc.com Email ids: 1. a@abc.com 2. b@abc.com 3. c@abc.com 4. d@abc.com 5. e@abc.com

Now, what I want is. 1. If I sets the rule: "a@abc.com" should be able to send mail only to "b@abc.com, c@abc.com and e@abc.com".

I've been using the Google Mail app without any problem since I've had my GN2. New emails would always show up as notifications. Recently I stopped getting notifications of any new emails. Now whenever I open the Google Mail I notice that it had not refreshed (checked for new messages) since the last time I launched the app and manually refreshed messages.

I don't like to use the Gmail App, always used the exchange setting which, unfortunately, isn't working anymore. So when I started using the stock HTC mail app for setting up Gmail accounts, which uses IMAP, I had the problem of 3 new labels being created in Gmail! IMAP/Trash, IMAP/Sent & IMAP/Draft. Also syncing didn't work right!

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S3. So far I love it! However I am experiencing frustration when trying to e-mail a picture. I have taken a few pictures, and when I try to e-mail them sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work. Today I tried to e-mail several pictures unsucessfully.

Hey there everyone. I'm a brand new Android user, and the thing that gets me most are notifications. Is there any way, or any application, or any post-root method, to remove notifications altogether?

I can't just go into each app and "turn off" notifications, as some apps do not allow their notifications to be turned off (such as the mail app provided by my carrier, au/KDDI).

On my HTC EVO 4G LTE phone, I was able to setup the HTC email app to treat my Gmail account as a ActiveSync Exchange account and push my email (i.e., it arrives immediately when received by the Google email servers). I used the server name of "m.google.com", user name of "myname@gmail.com", etc.

Hello all, I use the Samsung Calendar application exclusively which is connected to my work gmail account. I find it extremely annoying that I get calendar notifications from BOTH calendar applications.
