In a lab environment, I am attempting to configure an SCCM server (2007) to be our patch solution across three different domains.
DOMAIN A (domA.sample):
The trusted domain. SCCM01 (Server) is on this network.
DOMAIN B (domB.sample):
One way trust between the two domains.
I've been stuck on this for a while, not sure what permission I'm missing. I've got domain A and domain B, A trusts B, but B does not trust A. I'm trying to run a service in domain A with a user account from domain B and I keep getting Access is Denied. I'm using the FQDN after the username and the password is correct.
So - following from my previous question: How do I stop DFSR replication preventing a Domain Controller from advertising Domain Services?, I lost the FSMO DC, and my only other DC was in an unrecoverable state.
I've created a new domain to continue my testing, but now have an issue which I suspect is relevant to any domain suffering a "catastrophe".
I have user accounts and client PCs "on the ol
I have: - two DNS servers: 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 - domain name: domain.com pointed to 1.1.1.1
I want to point sub domain: sub.domain.com to 2.2.2.2 (obviously www.sub.domain.com too)
on 1.1.1.1 I've create a DNS A record pointing sub.domain.com to 2.2.2.2
accessing sub.domain.com now lead to 2.2.2.2 successfully
the problem is the DNS records on 2.2.2.2 such as CNAME www do not work means access
I have two separate Google Apps domains that I would like to merge. Both domains are in use.
One domain should act as the primary domain, and the other should be added as an associated domain.
To associate the second domain in the first, it needs to be available, but make it available I need to delete it in Google Apps. This would interrupt the mail flow and the user data would be lost.
I want to send bulk domains from my vps for a domain(cagetur.com) hosted in another company. The company(cagetur) will go on using the old hosting account for its mailing operations.
The vps will just be used for smtp for once a week. I created an A record "vps.cagetur.com".
We're running a Windows DNS (Server 2008, Active Directory) on our network.
I create an account with domain and use asp .net framework (2.0)
And I created a portal section under sub-domain with it but it is developed by asp.net frame 4.0
How can I use both asp.net 2.0 and 4.0 under the same account.
It is make conflict with me.
I was used websitepanel and it is easy to do that with many sub-domains with different .net versions
also php versions.
If I set up a main domain called DOMAIN.COM, then underneath that I have 5 other subdomains added as "add on" domains, for example:
APP1.DOMAIN.COM
APP2.DOMAIN.COM
APP3.DOMAIN.COM
APP4.DOMAIN.COM
APP5.DOMAIN.COM
Then I want to give the main domain and the sub domain an SSL certificate.
Do I need to buy ONE SSL cert or 5? (I would assume 5).
What about IP address?
