The Toshiba Satellite L500/04M is a respectable notebook for $788. Although the Pentium Dual Core T4500 CPU and ATI Radeon HD 4530 graphics aren't the best, they are still solid.

The Toshiba Satellite L500/025 is part of the growing number of sub $1000 Core i5 notebooks, and with ATI Radeon HD 5165 graphics it's a good one.

my wife has a Toshiba Satellite L500-1XC. I installed 10.04 on the machine when we bought it last year and it's worked fine ever since.

On Friday I ditched my Sky ADSL package (which we never had any problems using) and moved over to BT's Infinity, but I'm having problems with the WiFi.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L500 with Ubuntu 12.04 and its wifi suddenly stopped working!! I've never seen like that before.. I tried also using external USB wifis but no success.
