Hello all,I recently aquired a tablet with android 4. Uppon connecting it to my computer, the tablet recognizes that it is connected, but my computer does nothing. After some Googling, this behaviour was to be expected due to the mtp system, BUT, running mtp-detect produces no results.

I recently bought myself an android tablet, and i have been trying to connect my USB keyboard to it. Whenever i plug it in, the tablet doesn't even acknowledge the device is there! I don't even get a message to tell me the usb device isn't recognised.
I have a tr718d tablet that is rooted and running a 2.3.1 ROM . it worked great and I tried to update it to 2.3.4 using android batch upgrade tool and it loaded and then at the end it said 1 OK 0 fail. Which is usually good. But it didn't do anything on the tablet and now it won't turn on, the computer doesn't recognize it, and the reset button doesn't work.

Hi, I've been trying to set up a sftp connection to my n810 tablet (running openssh on maemo linux) so I can connect to it from my ubuntu laptop. The tablet is connected to internet through wifi.
I've installed the client on the laptop, opened port 22 for the n810 on my router and started the ssh server.
I would like to create a WLAN with my android, so I can use it with my notebook and the tablet could use the internet of the notebook. I know that there is connectify at windows that does that. I tought that using the button "use as hotspot" would work but he opens a ad-hoc hotspot, not a true hotspot, so my android cannot recognize the connection.

I've connected my tablet to my PC (with Kies installed in it) thru USB, but the pc doesn't recognize it. I tried plugging the tablet to another PC (without Kies), and it didn't detect the tablet either. Two days ago, it was still working well, as i have been able to transfer files between them.
I have two Bluetooth connection problems with my Asus Transformer TF101 running ICS:
1. I can pair it with my computer running Windows7 but cannot connect to it nor can the PC connect to the Transformer. Same hold for trying to connect to my Motorola Droid phone running Android 2.2.3, they pair but don't connect. How to I get them to connect so I can do things like transfer files.
