Provided you set up multiarch correctly, try the following:Purge both packages. Then install ia32-libs and then teamviewer. If you still get errors try apt-get install -f.
This question is purely theoretical to show why mixing packages from versions is a bad idea. (ia32-libs) It is meant to be treated as a resource to other users instead of an answer to a single question, as this applies to many users trying to install old 64-bit programs (Teamviewer) onto multiarch supported Ubuntu versions. I also opened this question up to Community Wiki.
I'm trying to install Adobe Air on Ubuntu 13.10. In this version of Ubuntu, packages like ia32-libs and ia32-libs-multiarch are no longer available, so I'm trying to install the needed 32-bit libraries on my own.
