I work at a college doing system administration. Someone in their lab is looking to build a cluster for running complex Octave and C++ projects.
They have brand new modern machines. My question is which setup is better to use Rocks, or Ubuntu/Mosix, or is there something better to use?
Hi Everyone,
Can someone possibly point me in the direction?
When I execute command echo "hello" | sendmail -v testacct@wyx.com
I recived an email as expected except the From: NAME is incorrect. The server name is correct.
I've grown very attached to Mutt as an email client. The only problem was that there was no "mailing list" capability in Mutt - that is, I couldn't save a list of email addresses and just have Mutt automatically email all of them with my message and subject. Therefore, I decided to come up with a script. I feel like this works very well and is quite simple.1)
I am using Listserv 15.5 and I would like to use a mailing list address as editor mail address, however Listserv explicitely warns one from using a mailing list address:
Important Note: The first editor MUST be an email address that goes to
a person, not a file server, list server, mailer, or other automated
email address.
Ok, here's the deal. My Dad is perpetually griping about how much he hates windows. I got him a used Mac, and he didn't care for it. So Linux is his last chance.
I scrounged up an old computer that has:
-a 450mhz Pentium III
-256 megs of RAM
-a 13 gig drive
Hi. Using Evolution 3.4 and Fedora 17.
My address or Contacts book is labeled Personal and it has 5 visible contacts. The info bar on the top of it says there are 16 addresses. I assume those are the cached "sent-to" addresses that many posts offer as a way to quickly add an email address to your contacts list.
I did some research online looking for a way to create an alias email address using cPanel. Meaning, an address that is different, but that will send all messages to a different email address I selected on that domain.
I saw several posts about using a forward, but it does not seem like a "real" alias.
In order to avoid the errors and mistyped address before you send email, you can use the Super Email Verifier 3.08. This short tutorial below will show you how to verify email addresses on your mailing list.
While checking my email, I noticed a thank you for your order from Walmart. I have never ordered any thing from Walmart.
The order for a flat screen television seemed authentic, but the name and address was for someone in another state. I clicked the link for customer service. I noticed that I was connected to a server in Russia and then to a "google search" for Walmart.
