Was just wondering if there was a way to save a website in multiple folders in Chrome? For example, I have Phonedog bookmarked in my desktop folder but on my phone it goes their mobile version but I can't bookmark it again, it shows its bookmarked already.
I have Google Chrome installed on my GN2 and have had no issues until today I noticed that my bookmark widget is opening all bookmarked pages in the stock browser for GN2, not Chrome. I have tried clearing cache and data for internet in application manager. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Seriously what is up with this? I have a bunch of junk bookmarks at the top of my bookmarks list that has been added to my new Galaxy Note 2 by Verizon. What makes me so upset is that Verizon has decided I should have no choice but to stare at and not be able to delete any of their junk bookmarks.
For some reason, right-clicking on the Home Folder icon in the panel no longer shows my bookmarked locations unless a file browser is already open. Obviously that defeats the purpose of having bookmarks in the jump list.
I don't think an update caused this, it seemed to start happening on its own.
After installing latest Firefox on my new PC and importing bookmarks from old PC, none of my bookmarks in the pull down table have individual icons as seen on the navigation bar- just the 'blank page' icon. I've deleted bookmarks, navigated to the page and bookmarked it again, but still the blank page icon. Have re-installed Firefox but still no joy.
Does anyone know of a pdf reader for android whose bookmarks will show up as bookmarks in Adobe Acrobat for the desktop (or in another pdf reader for Windows)?
I found that annotations such as sticky notes and drawings made on the PDFs with some android apps will show up just fine in Adobe Acrobat for Windows, but I haven't yet found a way to make the bookmarks carry over.
I would like to know if there exists an API and also a command to find the bookmarks file name and path in ubuntu.
My application writes to the bookmarks file to add some short cuts. Before ubuntu 11.X the bookmarks file used to be in "/home/myname/.gtk-bookmarks", but post ubuntu 13.0X it is inside "/home/myname/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks".
I hope this is not a duplicate questions! BTW this is my first questions here :)
So...I have recently synced all my bookmarks from my Chrome in my personal laptop to Chrome at work. Now every time I add new bookmarks or edits them at work I want to be able to see them on my laptop at home. I can't seem to find it on Advanced Sync Settings on Chrome's Settings. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Strangest thing... I've been running IIS 7 on Windows 7 Ultimate as a personal web server for quite a while now, no problems, I test my web pages from my work network (WAN) all the time. I added a page today that is based on a Dreamweaver template (just like all my other pages), and now, I can't get to the web site with my Android Galaxy S3... worked fine before adding this one page.
