trouble with Oracle Database ...

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – i installed the oracle express edition database via the rpm from their site ... "oracle-xe-" but my system is a fedora11 x86_64 machine at first when i tried to start oracle ... a message would come saying that there was a problem for it to access libaio.so.1 file ... apparently i had the x86_64 version and it was looking for i386 version ... so i got the rpm for it and installed it ... it got installed but still when i try and start oracle (open the database homepage)... it does not start when i start sql command like and try to login it wont login Code: SQL> connect Enter user-name: dba Enter password: ERROR: ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory SQL> anyone know how to get it working ? thank you (HowTos)
