http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I'm trying to install nmap and I'm getting errors, I'm running FC12, I didn't have a compiler on here so I used yum to install the gcc, i downloaded the lastest of nmap from their site, i unzipped it. after running the configure file, the make command was giving me errors. I tried the gmake and that worked, but when I go to make the install I get these errors: g++ -c -Iliblua -Ilibdnet-stripped/include -Ilibpcre -Ilibpcap -Inbase -Insock/include -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DNMAP_NAME=\"Nmap\" -DNMAP_URL=\"http://nmap.org\" -DNMAP_PLATFORM=\"i686-pc-linux-gnu\" -DNMAPDATADIR=\"/usr/local/share/nmap\" -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 main.cc -o main.o make: g++: Command not found make: *** [main.o] Error 127 I'm still searching to see if I can find any other information online, but wondering if any of you have gone through this already, thanks.
