http://forums.cpanel.net – I am looking for someone with expertise and experience installing Cpanel - Enkompass on a Windows 2008 server. This is currently being installed by technicians that are not familiar with the control panel and are having problems. Specifically with assigning IP addresses. the technicians are basically saying that I should abandon this because it is no longer properly supported etc. I just wanted to get some feedback from the forum is this still a viable tool? Anybody out there that can help complete the install (HowTos)

So we recently decided to retire our aging Windows hosting server on which there were only a few accounts but each of them required MSSQL so, being a cPanel shop, we started putting an Enkompass server together for consistency's sake.

Our Enkompass (v3.0.0.60) has started suspending multiple accounts over the last few days due to bandwidth exceeding. What we've noticed is that when we look at the AWStats of the account (in its WSOI control panel), it shows that the bandwidth used is way under what Enkompass is saying has been used. Enkompass is starting to suspend more accounts as each day goes by.

I have finally upgraded our v2.4 installation of Enkompass up to the latest v3.0.0.60, and everything went smoothly. I was hoping that an issue I noticed before would have been corrected, but it doesn't seem so.

The issue that one of our clients is having is related to Enkompass' handling of e-mail accounts.

I'm trying to install enkompass 3.0 on windows server 2008 x64 standart and each time I try to install it, it ends up with tis error:

I'm new on Enkompass, always used cPanel with great success as well as IIS and other services.

After a few reviews and investigation I've the following matter on my mind and i'm not sure what's best.

1. It's recommended to create a Domain only for Enkompass?

i did try all the Users/Pass combination and getting these 2 type of Errors!

I have just installed Enkompass and I am having a few issues with the setup.

Firstly, when entering the SMTP details, when I click "Save" (there is no test button like the instructions suggest) it clears the password - every time?

The main issue now is that when looking at the servers and services page (Step 5), there is only the 1 server which is the Enkompass server running Enkom

I'm new to this forum, also I don't know much about the Cpanel Installation and configuration.

I'm installing cpanel on one of our client VPS server ( Cent OS 6 64 bit ), Earlier there was Plesk panel on the server. And there was some issue on the server configuration, we rebuilt the server and now we are installing the cpanel on our server.
