So, I finally grew tired of dealing with microsoft and all their b.s., and a buddy of mine talks me into getting fedora 11. Needless to say I have no clue what I am doing, and since I don't like bothering him everytime I hit a wall and need to learn this for myself,; my question is a two-fer. first Does anyone know where linux noob such as myself can learn how to work with fedora.

Battlemass is a new single-player and multi-player turn-based strategy game for Linux.
In the game, you play match on a tile based map in turns of 3 phases – combat, harvest and build. The goal is to destroy your opponent's Base/City Unit.

Warlock's Gauntlet is a top down Diablo like action game for Linux. You play the role of a battlemage who travels through maps filled with monsters, gaining experience and learning new spells.
The game features 25 random-generated levels which should amount to about three hours of gameplay and the player character can find over 60 distinct spells.
This is a 3D version of the classic game with several game board options and beautiful themes.
So first off, (for people who know the game) I'm not actually trying to play the game "multiplayer" - I just want to be able to make all my own characters.
