http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I have a Fedora 17 server with a software Raid5 that gets 150MB read/write to a esata drive formatted in ext4, but when I am transferring files over my network wired gigabit or wireless 300mbps I only get 7-10MB/s. If I transfer windows 7 to windows 8 I get 17-25MB/s wireless and 35MB/s steady 85MB/s peak wired. Is Samba suppose to be this slow? (HowTos)
