http://serverfault.com – I have been tasked with transferring SSL certificates from one server to another for a website. I know nothing about this but have been reading that if everything is the same on the 2 servers then I should be able to just copy some files. Otherwise I have regenerate something. The original server is CentOs machine running apache that has several websites on it. The new server is a CentOs VM also running apache on a different machine. The website has the whole new VM to themselves, they dont share with anyone else. So one thing that is different is the location of their html files. On the (HowTos)

I'm very new to RAID, so please bear with me.

I have 2 servers, both identical hardware, but one's running Windows Server 2003, the other is running CentOS.

I now need to make a clone of the Windows server on the machine that was running CentOS.

So, my question is...

In an environment where a handful of Apache servers are running a bunch of sites using SSL certificates for HTTPS, where should these certificates be placed? In Debian or Ubuntu, should all relevant files be put in /etc/apache2/ssl? Or is there some other location better suited for this?

I have Godaddy SSL certificate for one website on my dedicated server running Centos 5.3 / Apache 2.2.3. I have renewed certificate on Godaddy recently, however now it's showing as expired on my website. I've re-keyed certificate since and reuploaded domain.key, domain.crt and bundle.crt (example file names) files to the server, restarted apache, but the sertificate still shows as expired.

I've a machine that has a AMD Phenom quad-core, 8 GB RAM, 2 - 1TB drives using Raid-1. And on this I'm currently running CentOS 5.3 64-bit and under it I'm running VMware Server 2.0.2; Oracle 11g R2, Apache 2.2, JBoss 5.0, and some other things I like.

I am setting up a sort of personal dropbox for our customers on a CentOS 6.3 machine. The server will be accessible thru SFTP and a proprietary http service base on PHP. This machine will be in our DMZ so it has to be secure.

I have a machine, which cannot fetch some files from remote servers by FTP. Machine is powered by CentOS. I tested FTP on three files:

From them, I can always successfully download only one - ll091212.004.
