XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the famous title developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, might get a Linux launch very soon. 2K games is among the first major publishers that have announced their intention to support SteamOS and, implicitly, the Linux platform.
I am having some odd performance issues with the XCOM: Enemy within add-on, and I was wondering if anyone could comment on their performance. I can max out Enemy unknown at 60fps but when I try to play Enemy Within I get around 11-12fps no matter what level of detail I set. I find this odd as Enemy within is just an add-on that uses the same engine.
