A couple of days ago, I lost my dear Android tablet. I dont know if I have left it somewhere or if it in fact was stolen :/
It does not have any 3G module, and hence no SIM, inserted. I haven't logged into my Google Account on the tablet. And I have not installed any tracking software.
The tablet have a GPS installed. Is there any way to track the tablet using only the serial-number?
If I lost my galaxy s3, and I made a samsung account and turned on the alert sim change and locate phone settings. . .
Please answer any that you can! Thank you so much!
1. Can I track it if the phone is off?
2. What if the person hard resets the phone, do I still have a chance at tracking my phone?
3. How long should I look for it before I give up?
I HAVE THE LG G2, I recently lost it. I have the Lookout app and I have also tried the Android device manager. But my phone was dead when I lost it. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can track my phone?
Hello, Im a user from India. Recently I lost my Nexus 4. It was pick-pocketed. After filing a complaint with the police and hoping for the Phone to get traced through IMEI I discovered that you can change the IMEI of the phones.
Thieves in India, after stealing your phone, crack your phone through a software. Later they wipe the IMEI number and replace it with another one.
I'm looking to use an old HTC phone as a GPS tracker. It will have a PAYG SIM in. Basically I want to use it to track groups of students who are walking unsupervised and be able to find them in case of getting lost.
Okay, I have a Nexus 4 that I rarely use, a Nexus 5 that replaced it and a Nexus 7 that is also infrequently used. I had all three at home one day and then I went on a trip and spent a few days at home before I realized I lost track of the Nexus 4. It does not have a SIM card in it (moved that to the 5). I had activated the Device Manager tracking on all three devices.
