http://crunchbang.org – Just to update this a bit. /usr/share/prey is the directory to find these files. You will enter the API key but ./prey.sh --check will generate device key. I hope this saves some confusion. I always use Prey as I have my devices in pubic settings. (HowTos)

Hey guys, I am looking for a app that will allow me to track my tablet's location in case it gets lost or stolen. The problem is that it is a tablet, and it seems all of the apps I can find (except "prey" which just flat out didn't work) want to use sms to request the gps location from the phone. Obviously my tablet does not have sms, so I need to find one that uses push notifications.

I am Slender and I have a phone that is designed for me to track down my prey. It's called the slendroid. I need to root it so I can hack into human's electronic devices to warn them that I'm in their house. Please help. I won't be hunting for this month because it's broken.
