Hi all,

I am working on a project where i would like to install a printing system that makes it possible to print over my network.

There are 4 printers spread over the entire network. These printers should only be approached through a print-server. (I use SAMBA and CUPS as print-server because i use windows and linux clients)

I not a Linux expert, I am just a user. I’ve been using Ubuntu and Mandriva Linux on my computer for about 4 years. But for that long, I often having some problems when installing software in my Linux system.

DeVeDe is a powerful software for Linux to create CD and DVD videos. This application is real easy to use with nice graphical interface. Now, I want to guide you how to install the DeVeDe 3.16.2 on Ubuntu from source.

I am using Mandriva 2010 and Ubuntu Hardy Heron and both of them now have Windows XP theme installed. I have to do this because my computer also used by my lovely wife and she is not too familiar with the Linux Gnome interface.

Here is the basic Linux tutorial on how to enable automatic login in Gnome. Currently I am using Mandriva Linux 2010 on this tutorial. If you have your Linux installed on your PC and nobody else is using your computer, you may follow this tutorial.
