I am trying to play a file it is x264 with aac audio in a matroska container.
I have installed x264 support, faac, gpac and gstreamer-ugly. Now the file will play in Xine but Totem still reports that the codecs are missing.
Are there any reasons for this? If I have installed the codecs and xine pays why wont totem?

I am using the yum install @kde-desktop
and I am not being very successful. I am getting an error that says "Missing Dependency: xine-lib(plugin-abi) (x86-64) = 1.26 is needed by package xine-lib-extras-freeworld-1.1.16.3.2.fc12.x96_64 (rpmfusion-free)
I am running fedora 12 as well.
Using SuSE 11.2 KDE. Totem is completely mute, regardless of which type of video file I try playing. Have tried Pulse and Alsa. Have tried Xine and gStreamer. Any ideas?

the color balance not works and I cant play rmvb
I'm running F17 (64-bit) with the kde environment, up-to-date via yum.
Xine is now having trouble with wmv files. Some of them will no longer play at all and some will play, but without sound. Most of them will play normally unless I attempt to jump ahead/back in the timeline, which causes playback to freeze and it can't be recovered; xine must then be killed via a console.
Hello, I cannot get DVB-T to work in Totem.
