So everything in Ubuntu has been working great until networking stopped working. I've spent the better part of two days scouring for a fix with no luck. Here is my info...your help would so be appreciated.
I am fairly new to Linux and have setup 13.04 on a media server that is to be kept in a closet. I found that every time the box boots I have to restart networking to get connectivity, which makes it unusable.
I have setup br1 with a static IP address and em1 pulls an address from the DHCP.
I recently installed updates to my ubuntu 12.04 installation notified to me via the updates manager. On completion, when I did a restart, no networking, wireless or cable, was working. Networking still works if I reboot to the previous version, but that is a pain.
Which package do I need to re-install to get the latest version to network again?
