Tizen is a Linux distribution for mobile platforms cobbled together with parts from the MeeGo project, Moblin and Maemo (all three are now defunct). Tizen’s development is overseen by the Tizen Association, a non-profit organization supported by power-house companies in the industry This alpha release is intended for the attention of developers, so it is not something you can download and install like other Linux distributions. I would like to know if Tizen has support for BT and if so does it use the open source bluez protocol?

Also I would like to know where to start digging when it comes to bluetooth in Tizen.

Samsung plans to offer a high-end smartphone framed on the open-source, Linux-based, Tizen operating system later this year, according to a top executive for the Korean mobile device maker. I am compiling the Tizen Linux for Mobile and iPad. But inside Tizen can we deploy or use the repository from Ubuntu?

Because i have many application working under Ubuntu (but Ubuntu do not have mobile compatible hardwares or etc and also not have any iPad modules), how can we port ubuntu packages to Tizen?

Rly wonder how much of that is true. If so.. we could hope for a like? Alternative OS booting besides Android would be rly interesting to see.. especially if TIZEN would run natively.

Hope there's some more information following that up. Any of u heard more?
