Can anyone tell me what the settings should be on my Galaxy S3 in order to save a Titanium backup to the external SD card? While I had Titanium and used it on my HTC Sensation without a problem, I have encountered that when I have it on my T-mo Galaxy SIII, it saves the backups to the internal 16 GB memory by default, not the SD card.
I just rooted my Galaxy Nexus and installed Rom manager and Titanium Backup. This isn't my first time rooting and i think i some what of a grip on the process.
I did a full backup in Rom manager and set up a system data backup on certain apps on a schedule through Titanium. I synced Titanium to Drop box and every time a backup is made, it is automatically sent to my Drop box account.
I obtained my new Galaxy S III yesterday, yet I cannot recover application data, nor the actual themselves via Titanium Backup.
I am transferring from the T-Mobile G2(HTC Vision). The titanium backup data is from there.
I rooted the Galaxy S III, installed the "Omega v.28" ROM, and installed Titanium Backup from the Google Play Store.
I have a few question regarding nandroid backup and titanium backup.
1. If I do nandroid backup of original ROM and then I flash to another ROM, what happens if I directly do restore from the backup from another ROM?
2. What is the difference between nandroid backup and titanium backup? As far as I'm concerned, titanium backup only backup the apps + data. How about nandroid backup?
3.
I want to wipe /sdcard and then to restore apps and data. So what I'll do:
1. Titanium Backup for all apps and data.
2. Wipe /sdcard.
3.
I rooted, did a CWM backup and also did a titanium backup. I downloaded a jelly bean ROM and dragged it into my phone. My question is this. After I do a wipe and then install the ROM won't titanium backup be deleted? How will I restore from titanium after I install the ROM?

Well, as the title says, I recently purchased ROM Toolbox, and I already had Titanium Backup PRO. I noticed the former does also the same job of the latter, which is backing up apps + data, and has many batch operations just like Titanium.
Now, I also noticed that both of these two apps generate backup files in .gz format.
My titanium backup only sees three user apps (no user apps are on external) when I try to back them up.
external stoage is set to sdcard0
backup diresctory is set to sdcard1/titabackup
What can I do to resolve this. I need to install and restore backups and it finds a directory with a lot of them but performs no action (ie recognizing them)
I was cleaning up my N4's sd card (virtual) to free up some space, and after copying all the files from a recent titanium backup to my PC, I deleted those files on my phone (from the PC, while still connected). After that, Almost every directory on my sd card was gone, and not in my recycle bin. Weird.
