I want to have an SamSung Galaxy S3 unlocked phone. So that I can use it for an unlimited data plan. I'm thinking either Straight Talk or Virgins Mobile USA Unlimited for 35.00 a month.
I live in Everett WA.
My only question is based on those companies and the plan I want, and where I live and the phone I want, which phone is best for me?
I have an old GSM phone with a T-Mobile prepaid sim card. I keep it on the daily plan which comes with unlimited voice/text and data.
When I put that GSM sim card inside my Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy Note 2, voice and text work just fine.
However, I can't get any data at all. In addition, the phone also keeps giving me a warning message that it's a non-Verizon sim card.
Just got my Nexus 4 and took it up to T-Mobile to try and sign up for the $30 prepaid plan, the one with 100 voice minutes and unlimited text and data. Seems like that is just damned near impossible!
First T-Mobile sent me to Walmart. Walmart told me this was only available if you bought one of their phones.
Please help me with this problem, i bought 1 samsung galaxy s3 t999 of t-mobile from 1 guy on craiglist.com 3 months ago, for the 1st 3 months, the phones work fine, but just last 4 days, my phone can not call, text or internet (i used prepaid plan $50/month from t-mobile), then i called t-mobile technician support 5, 6 times, after all they said my phone locked by t-mobile, because the owner of t
I am currently on the $15 a month unlimited texting prepaid plan from TMO w/o data service. I have a semi smartphone (Nokia Nuron 5230) that doesn't have wifi which is all I want. I have wifi everywhere I go, so I do not really need a data plan.
Hey,
I was recently using my phone that i got a couple days ago ( Bought it unlocked at my local Electronics store ) and i popped in my T-mobile sim card and after 1 day I looked at my status bar, I had H+ on the top right corner. I tested it out on my browser ( I was at a park while this happened ) and the data worked fast like on a T-mobile 4g phone.
Hello everyone. Lots of great informative info here. I am with AT@T and have an older Nokia non smart phone with a $10.00 per month unlimited data plan
which I roughly use around 350mb per month. I was considering getting a G I5500 unlocked phone and need to know if they will detect it and do you think they will alter my data plan? thanks in advance

As of this morning, Americans, you can now buy a Windows Phone 7 device online from the Microsoft Store, Dell or Amazon, as long as you're happy with either an AT&T or T-Mobile service plan.
The lowest price seems to be $99 for the HTC Surround on Amazon, with an AT&T service plan -- but it looks like it's already on backorder.

Hi folks,
I just bought a HTC Desire VC less than a month ago, but I'm having so much problems, I'm on the verge of giving up on it now :-(
Though this is not my 1st Android phone, but I'm still rather new to Android phones. I bought my previous 1 only 3 months ago, when I was having a break & some time to play with Smart phones.
