Well I have loaded my tab up with tons of games and apps and I still have 4 GB of free data mainly because of using the apps gl to sd and link2sd. I have a 32 GB SD card inserted and have managed to push about 10+ gigs to it using the gl to sd app. I will no longer complain about this tab not having enough free space. It really does if you know how to work around the limitations.
Is all 32 gb of space available for apps? I'm so disappointed about not being able to move apps to an SD card. Nova 3 is almost 2 gigs! With Shadowgun and Dead Trigger installed, I'm out of space on my 16gb S3. I would have bought the 32gb model if I would have known ahead of time.
I have an XEU international, sim free SGS2 on O2, stock 4.0.4 non rooted.
I am about to do a factory reset to sort this out, but wondered if you had any ideas first?
this is the second time I have had to do this, because the same problem seems to occur after a while.
Basically, an app or a process is slowly using up all my free space.

I found this scanning the forum. I d/l this zip and flashed it in ss3 over minimoto with no problems and got the free space. After opening the app for the first time it notified me of an update and i chose LATER.
Older eclair tablet once again plays up with me giving false warnings. If not one thing it's another. Long story short, 2GB free on device memory, and app installer won't install any app claiming that its out of space and asks me to delete apps and try again. I have 2GB remaining I'm most certainly not out of space and hardly have any apps installed! Any way to bypass this error?
Hi Iknow plenty has been said about this subject but I have completed the following but still get message not enough space:
Partitioned SDcard
Downloaded both link2sd and Titanium backup
Moved and lnked all apps to sd
LINK2SD tells me only link2sd on internal
Power tuner working
Storage info as follows
INTERNAL total 146MB! used 128MB!
I was running out of space already, thanks to pictures and a lot of podcasts, so I FTPed into my S3 and checked out the stats with WinDirStat (great little program, obviously it works on any directory/drive on Windows) that graphically shows what's taking up space.
I have a TON of wallpapers on my external SDCard, near on 5 gigs.
Hi,
I have a weird problem with my S2 running samsung stock ICS 4.0.3. i have been using sgs2 for over a year now and whenever my free internal storage goes below 2.5GB i move the apps to SD card. But now No. of apps in SDcard has hit the Android limit so i simply delete the Apps. But off late that is not freeing up my internal memory.
So i have 20 gbs of unallocated space on my hard disk. I get this error when i try to install fedora using the "Use existing space" Option.
Shouldn't it create a new partition automatically? I have 400 gigs on my C: drive, and 20 gigs of Unallocated space. Why doesn't this work.
My theory is that this isn't truly unformatted space like i need.
