I have been setting up my Motorola Atrix HD Titanium. When i press the home button twice, it always takes me to the leftmost page. If I reorder the screens and change the leftmost screen,that one becomes the new main home screen. Any ideas how I can set the main screen to be the middle screen? Thanks.
I am having an issue with an Evo 3D. The phone has 7 home-screens on it. When you list them in the expanded view, there are two at the top, three in the middle, and two at the bottom.
For some reason, the screen that is to the right in the middle is the default home-screen. How that got set, I don't know.
Is there any way for me to always unlock to my default home screen rather than the home screen I was on when my phone locked? I find it annoying to never know where my phone is going to open up.
I want to customize my s3 home screen with my favorite "go to" apps and widgets. The problem is that it appears that there are actually 7 home screens, all of which share the main apps at the bottom. How can I set one to be the home screen the back button always takes you to?
When my phone's lying flat on a table, it's easier to turn it on by pressing the home button rather than position my hand to squeeze the power button. When I'd switch on my Note 1, S2, and S3 this way, they'd wake up to the last used app screen, which is not necessarily a home screen. The Note 2, however, always returns to the main home screen.
Hi, i have an international Galaxy S3 (i-9300). I recently updated to Jelly Bean via Samsung Kies (baseband version I9300DXDLI5) and there's a change that has been bugging me. In stock ICS, when the screen turned off due to inactivity, pressing either the power button or the home button would turn on the screen and lets me pick up where i left off.
Hi, my wife's Desire C (O2) has just started to show the weather, date & time for Paris on the home screen, with the correct UK time in the top right hand corner.
There doesn't seem to be a setting to change the 'default' home screen weather/time, unless I've missed it...if I go into the weather app, Paris is shown as 3/3, with our local area as 1/3, with a little 'map' type symbol by it - c
I have this frustrating problem. I have my screen timeout at 30s. So say when I'm reading a webpage and after 30s of non activity the screen turns off on me while I'm reading. During this immediate moment the phone is not yet locked. I quickly turn back on the screen by pressing the home button to continue my reading. The screen turns on but it also returns to the home screen!
Okay, so here's my problem:
I have a web app which I go to the website for, save to my home screen and I have the icon for it on the home screen. That works and is great. Now, any time I press on this icon, it loads the home page (index.html) This isn't really what I'm after. Ideally, I want it to open from the last known position, just like an app would.
