Tips how add a picture of friends on contacts

http://androidforums.com – hi everyone got myself a s3 and i love it the only thing i cant seem to do is put pictures of friends to their phone number when i set the picture as a contact my phone book just doesnt come up to allow me to assign their picture to their number, i know ill have missed something so simple that i am not doing right can anyone help?, ps i dont use face book i just want friends pictures assigned to their phone numbers thank you for your help in advance (General)

I have several contacts in my address book that I have through several phone books such as Facebook, Google and on my phone. Some of them have contact pictures and some don't. What I am noticing is sometimes on the phone book it is not showing a contact picture. I was just wondering if there is a way to force the contact picture from one of the joined contacts?

I have bought my Sensation XE with android 2.3.4. I added all my contacts to phone memory and pictures were fine. Few months ago I updated to ICS. I added a new contact and picture to it but when I have an incoming call picture look really bad. I have really now idea why. The Contact is not linked to anywhere(no facebook, no gmail).

I've assigned a picture of myself in my phone contacts and it shows up. I can't figure out how to assign and see the same picture in a text dialog using the default text program. If I tap on the blank contact icon next to my my dialog, I get the following, "the contact does not exist". Is it possible to assign my picture to my outgoing texts?

Hey guys, so I'm trying to add pictures to my contacts. Right now, I've found that you can select a picture from your gallery > set as contact icon > [choose the contact] > save.. however, the pictures don't show up..

I first noticed it when a buddy sent me a picture from his HTC one . It was very small and not very detailed. I picked mine up on Friday and noticed when I sent a picture to my friends through mms that it was only sending 32 kb size pictures. The actual photos are .91 mb's. My question is short of emailing the picture is there anyway to send the photo in full resolution over mms?

I like infinite view from contact GB. in edit contact, the picture is big, so i can see it clearly my friends face :victory: But in ICS, in the picture is small, just a tiny little square.

Under each phone number I have many accounts linked (facebook, google, whatsapp, linkedin and twitter). How do I choose which profile picture is used? By default, the contacts seem to show the google account pic first, if that's not available then linkedin and the facebook.

when i sign in my facebook account on my phone it asks me wether to sync all facebook friends, sync only with existing contacts or don't sync, i choose with exsisting contacts,but facebook syncs with all my friends from facebook even some without numbers. And all i want with the sync is for my friends to their facebook pictures, but they don't. How to sync my contacts to have pictures?
