Hey folks,
I have a system with three screens running Ubuntu 11.10 86_64. Those screens are located next to each other and the X-Server is configured with Xinerama.
The screen in the middle is the main screen and all desktop-icons are located on the left one by default (files, links, ...). If I want to move one of these icons to another screen, I try to drag and drop those.
I have an icon that has never appeared on the top left of my screen before. Typically when you receive notifications, an icon pops up in this location. You swipe down and it tells you what it is. I have never seen this one before. It is a lower case i with a circle around it and a line drawn through it. Can anyone help me with this or has anyone seen this before?
Hi all,
Quick question. I have a few apps where I'd like to make the app icon on my home screen larger. Basically to make it easier to find and push. I don't want all of the icons larger though.
I can resize my widgets, but if I try to edit just an icon, I can only change the name and image.
It seems using Java to define the size of the icon to set on a home screen is not a simple issue.
One would assume 36-ldpi, 48-mdpi, 72-hdpi, 96-xhdpi but (and it's a big but)
Some screens get a too small or too large icon on them. (like the Asus TF-201 belonging to mdpi and getting a too-small icon.
Hey,
I bought note 2 few days ago and I have noticed that S Pen airview icon (small blue circle) does not work on lower right hand corner of my screen. When I hover the pen over that part of screen that blue circle does not appear at all but every thing else works fine (display, touch)
is this a manufacture fault? Is there anyway to fix this? or should I take it back to the shop?
Thanks
I use KDE on Fedora 17.
There are several icons on the desktop. When the mouse cursor is on an icon a menu appears on the right side of the icon.
I never use it.
Hi,
When I click on the "browser" icon, nothing appears but a blank white screen. I cannot get anything to show on the screen from that point on and have to exit. I'm not sure why and I have spent too much time playing to find the answer. Can anyone offer me a quick suggestion or idea as to why its disappeared.
When I use certain apps such as XM radio or TomTom, the icon displays at the top of the screen and then stays there, even when I close the app and swipe if off the recently opened apps. The only way to remove that icon is to reboot the phone until the next time I use the app. Is there any other way to remove the icon at the top of the screen?
On my galaxy note......I want to put a the "bookmarks" shortcut on my home screen. .... NOW, The only way to a shortcut to bookmarks is .menu/add+/shortcuts/bookmarks..........4 different windows to get to it. I cant seem to figure how to get the favorites icon on the home screen.
